    Tuesday 7th April
Well, what a change in the weather from yesterday. Today it looks like summer is back on again. Don't get too excited though the rain is coming back tonight, although it should be gone by the morning. Tomorrow should be sunny but the rain will return on Thursday. If my forecast is wrong, dont blame me blame the seaweed.
I will not be working this evening as I shall be watching the super Arsenal against Villareal in the Champions League. If we win then I will be found in the bar at about 10. If we lose you will probably still find me in the bar at 10 but in a different mood.

    Wednesday 8th April
Hey I got the weather right. Rain last night and nice this morning. I still think the rain will return tomorrow....the seaweed is showing signs of dampness. Arsenal put in and OK performance last night with a draw at Villareal. If we had a bit more ooomph up front we could have won.
What is on my agenda today? Oh yes I am just about to start the bar clean. then I shall be making a raspberry cheesecake. I have a delivery of ale from Keltek Brewery and this will be the first time I have stocked their ales. Keltek magic at 4% and Mr Murdochs Golden IPA at 4.5%. We also have Sharps Doom Bar St Austell, Black prince, Skinners Betty Stogs and St Austell Tribute on at the moment.

    Thursday 9th April
What a morning, Did the bar clean and then had3 brewery deliveries, the cellar is full and bulging. 7 different real ales will be available over the next few days. All Cornish and all in tip top condition (I hope). The weather is as predicted by myself yesterday wet.
It should clear later and we might even get some sunny spells. The rain will return tonight but tomorrow could be dry,
I managed to watch some football last night. Barcelona were awesome in the first half against Bayern Munich. I see an Arsenal Barcelona final coming up.
On the agenda today is Chocolate fudge cake, Lemon meringue pies, a lunchtime bar shift a quick bite to eat and then back on the bar for the evening. Oh happy days

Your new ales sound like a good idea. I've had the Keltik Magic before but not the Mr Murdochs Golden IPA. Rest assured I will be trying them all!

    Sunday 12th April
A stunning day in Polperro enhanced by a superb Sunday lunch in the Crumps, then a very pleasant afternoon sunning ourselves on the patio drinking Alan's latest ale, Keltic IPA. Fantastic. I could get seriously used to this.

    Monday April 13th
Its been a very busy weekend. The weather has been great and there have been lots and lots of happy people enjoying the sunshine on the patio. Tom Palmer was excellent on Friday night and was followed by Vince Martyn and Mel Duffy on Saturday. A great time was had by all I believe. The real ales flowed and flowed with the two Keltic ales selling out. I have asked Dagenham Dave to choose the next beers from Keltic and they will be in on Wednesday.
Todays weather is a bit of a change from the last few days, rain is forecast but lets hope it is only a shower.
A good win for Arsenal on Saturday and we even gave Wigan a goal start, how generous. Now to the big games, Wednesday against Villareal, Saturday is Chelsea and Tuesday is Liverpool. 3 wins from these 3 games and I will buy you a pint if you mention this message.

We are going for Keltek's Trevithick's Revenge (a blend of four malts hopped thrice, darkish in colour and strong in character @ 4.5%) and another Magik. Hopefully I'll be trying them next weekend. Also, I have ordered some more sunshine as we run out today.

Well, the Trevithick's revenge lived up to its description and although some loved it, it wasn't to everyone's taste (what is?). I think the Keltic brewery has some great beers so I hopefully we will get to try some more at the Crumplehorn. It was nice to see the sunshine back with avengence on Sunday although we did have to go back to Essex in the afternoon. See you all for May Day Bank Holiday weekend.

Those of you who have visted the Crumps recently may have noticed a Caption Competition. I've got another one:

"Betty Stoggs and Minty Stoggs resting after a hard day."

    Baffled?

Visit the bottom bar for a look.
