My staple is Doom, but I like trying them all. I always like to see a selection from more than one brewery and if they are in good condition you can't beat a Cornish ale in my opinion.
Yes Doombar for me too, followed closely by St Austell Tribute. That reminds me, I saw St Austell Brewery won 'Regional Brewery of the Year' in the Publican Magazine Annual Awards, which is the hospitality trades version of The Oscars. Quite an accolade for them.
The sunny weather I ordered on the Landlord's blog has followed me back to Dagenham I'm afraid. On the plus side I am enjoyng a bottle of Tribute in the garden.
I will have Tribute,Doom,Betty Stogs,Cornish Coaster,Keltek Magic and Murdochs IPA this weekend. Music on Friday and Saturday to accompany the ale.....
Hi Alan,Sonja and Jack Well it's nearly that time of year again when i spend approx 6 whole weeks in Looe and Polperro, just chilling with my wee dog. Well Mr Landlord please do tell if you have any new ales to sample this summer, as it is always a pleasure to dip my toe in ( theoretically speaking) and try something new, and as your ales are always in such marvelous condition your establishment will be my first port of call. see you on the 17th July Love Ann and Lulu XX
